Mevagissey

Mevagissey is an iconic harbour town nestled behind its protective historic stone breakwater on the South Coast of Cornwall. Facing out over St Austell Bay, the town commands stunning views out to sea. The centre is bustling, colourful and bursting with hidden gems to be found down every quaint alleyway and cobbled street.

The focus of Mevagissey is very much on its harbour as it still has a very active fishing fleet and a host of pleasure craft which frequent the waterways during the summer months. You can take trips out to sea from here or embark on the traditional steam powered ferry which runs to Fowey and back from which you’ll also take in views of Gorran Haven, Charlestown and Carlyon Bay.
