Challenge Anneka Bridge Wadebridge

The bridge is known locally as Anneka’s bridge as it was built with the help of Anneka Rice in 1991 as one of the projects she led in her Challenge Anneka TV series during the early 90’s. Anneka and her team of volunteers built the bridge in just four days! In 2022, almost 30 years after it was constructed the bridge was closed for a five month refurbishment and repair project allowing Cormac to give it a new lease of life so that many thousands of people can use it to cross the river Camel over the coming years.
